Pray Prayers

Matthew 6:9-15 [ESV] 9: Pray then like this: "Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. 10: Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. 11: Give us this day our daily bread, 12: and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors. 13: And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. 14: For if you forgive others their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you, 15: but if you do not forgive others their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Luke 11:1-4 [ESV] 1: Now Jesus was praying in a certain place, and when he finished, one of his disciples said to him, "Lord, teach us to pray, as John taught his disciples." 2: And he said to them, "When you pray, say: "Father, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. 3: Give us each day our daily bread, 4: and forgive us our sins, for we ourselves forgive everyone who is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation."

Ephesians 3:14- [ESV] 14: For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, 15: from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16: that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, 17: so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith- that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18: may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19: and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. 20: Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, 21: to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 1:17 [ESV] 17: that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you a spirit of wisdom and of revelation in the knowledge of him,

Philippians 1:9-11 [ESV] 9: And it is my prayer that your love may abound more and more, with knowledge and all discernment, 10: so that you may approve what is excellent, and so be pure and blameless for the day of Christ, 11: filled with the fruit of righteousness that comes through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.

Colossians 1:9-12 [ESV] 9: And so, from the day we heard, we have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, 10: so as to walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing to him, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God. 11: May you be strengthened with all power, according to his glorious might, for all endurance and patience with joy, 12: giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in light.

Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life.
